Contributions are not tax deductible as charitable donations for income tax purposes. Contribution limits for Kansas Senate campaigns are $1000/person per primary cycle and $1000/person per general election cycle. “Person” includes individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, associations, and organizations. The Kansas Ethics Commission requires reporting of the occupation and employer/industry of individuals giving more than $150 per cycle.
